Book One: A Wrinkle in Time by: Madeleine L'Engle
Have you ever thought back about the books you read growing up through school? This book is one of those for me. I only have a slight memory of the story line, but I remember it troubling me as a child (in 5th grade to be exact). Therefore, being the curious adult, I bought it to read again.
This is book one out of a four book series. Winner of the John Newbery Medal.
I will give my star count (review) upon finishing the book. In the meantime, what is your childhood book of interest that you might consider re-reading as an adult? Please share!
Cheers,
Stephanie
Being surrounded by books "the written word" makes me feel safe and strong. They take me to another place in my mind and heart which empowers me to explore, learn, grow, and find out more of what I am made of.

New Beginnings...
I am probably the most excited about this blog out of my four (which all my blogs are VERY different in topics). This one is most exciting because I am going to talk about one of my favorite earthly treasures ... BOOKS! One of my favorite hobbies which I am never satisfied with the amount of time I devote to is reading.
This blog is my personal book club. Meaning, I hope to use this blog as a means to talk about the book(s) I am reading and whether I would recommend them to others. I will rate each book by the scale of 1-5 stars (*). It is my way of encouraging others to read and connecting people to the written word.
Cheers,
Stephanie
